It was a unseasonably warm April day in the 70's and this brought out a big crowd to the Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown, Pa.   Lincoln is a 3/8 mile banked dirt oval and the surface is usually in good condition. Things got underway at 6:02 with time trials for the 410 sprint cars....READ MORE

It was the northeast opener at the Williams Grove Speedway on a warm 60's degree day with the night being clear and pleasant.  The house was packed for the opener of 410 and 358 sprint cars at the famed half mile oval.  Racing got underway at 7:42 with four heat races for the 358 sprint cars which brought a field of 37 cars to the event....READ MORE

We looked forward to today's racing with great anticipation as the USAC wingless sprints would be returning to Florida for the first time on dirt since 1987 and the first time ever at East Bay.  The Clay By The Bay as East Bay is known as we felt would be the perfect venue for the return of USAC sprint car racing as the track is finely manicured and the 1/3 mile length is similar to what the USAC folks are use to running on....READ MORE

No, we didn't fall off the face of the earth but many things after our return from Florida in February has kept us away from the keyboard. We lost Pat's mom, Ginny Schittler, three weeks ago and are still recovering from that and trying to get the house in order so we can put it on the market.  Ginny was a a great lady and will we sorely missed....READ MORE
